My approach

I'm Kimberly Joseph, and I support adults navigating grief and life transitions with warmth, respect, and care. My approach is culturally responsive and person-centered, honoring your lived experience, values, and goals.

I draw from evidence-informed practices and years of experience supporting individuals and communities through life's most challenging seasons.

What working together looks like

Grief does not move in stages, and it does not end. It changes shape. My work is not about helping you get over a loss — it is about making room for it alongside everything else you are carrying, and finding what a meaningful life looks like from here.

We start where you are. Some people come in the first raw weeks; others arrive years later, when something has stirred a loss they thought was settled. Both are welcome, and neither is late.

Continuing bonds

Much of my work draws on the idea of continuing bonds — that an ongoing relationship with someone you have lost is not a failure to move on, but a healthy and human part of living with loss. What that relationship looks like is yours to shape.
